2010 Malaysian Gp - Preview

This weekend in Sepang looks like its set to be another thriller. The most accurate weather forecast i know of tells me that RAIN will most likely be the conditions that the drivers have to practice, qualify, and race under. But like most races, we shall wait and see because weather can change.

Even though the Red Bulls have not finished well over the past 2 races, still the advantage seems to be with them, as they seem to have the best package, as proved in the past 2 races in Bahrain, and Australia.
Bahrain : Med-High speed corners - Good Aerodynamic package
Australia : Slow-Med-High speed corners - Great Mechanical grip

Sepang is a very aero-dependant track, and if you want a fast time, you need the best aerodynamic package, of which Red Bull seems to have. Hopefully ferrari would have brought some upgrades, to match the Red Bulls

Stay tuned for updates over the weekeend, i will be updating them here!

2010 Australian GP

Who says F1 is boring this year?!
Great defending from Alonso (Ferrari), STUPID error from Webber (Red Bull) and Hamilton (McMerc) no where to go.

The entire race was really awesome, but the driver who stood out the most was Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari (not because i am a Ferrari fan). When the 5 red lights went out, Alonso had a really bad start, and lost the place to Massa, who got off to a very good start, and in turn one, Alonso was tagged by Button, which resulted in him spinning out and ending up at the tail end of the field. He pitted once for dry, supersoft tyres, and drove almost 7/8ths of the race on the supersoft Bridgestone tyre. Alonso fought from the back, all the way to fourth, and defended from relentless attacks from Hamilton. That was a real "Schumacher" drive, a determined, head down charge through the field. IMHO, i think Alonso deserved to win that race, if not for being tagged out by the race winner himsef, Jenson Button.

This race really shut up all the critics who, after watching Bahrain, said that this season looks set to be a huge bore to all the fans.
Next race is in Sepang, Malaysia, and i will be making the trip up, as i do every year, to catch the race. I will be fliming, so stay tuned!
